About us
Independent Film Arizona, IFA was founded in 2005 and is a 501C(3) non-profit educational and networking organization. Our mission is to support and develop the Independent Film Industry in our state. We nurture student and emerging filmmakers as well as industry professionals. We are committed to educating and cultivating local talent, job creation, and content creation in our community.
IFA hosts 4 FREE networking and information meetings a year. Join us to connect with Arizona film makers, cast, crew, and all other businesses that support our community. Become a Member and have access to industry professionals and experts who will help you further your career or assist you in getting your first break. Membership starts at the low price of only $25 a year,
We have presented at The Loft, The University of Arizona, Tucson Mall, The Jewish Community Center, Connections Co-Labs, SAACA, and a variety of other venues in Tucson. We have continued meeting by ZOOM during the Covid-19. Join our virtual meetings by subscribing to our newsletter!
We send out a monthly e-mail newsletter to our over 3,000 members in Tucson. You can also check us out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! We post on our social media platforms to promote events and local talent each week.
IFA has been in existence as an all-volunteer organization 2005, and we have ambitious plans for the future. We love to collaborate with other like-minded groups and work together to achieve mutual goals.
